I just wanted to fly Virgin Atlantic to Ireland...
…but I guess that was too much to ask.
Stupid visa requirements are going to force me to fly Delta instead. Kill me now. (I’m hoping it will be better than my terrible United transatlantic flight…at least it looks like I have free & unlimited access to the personal in-seat entertainment thing). I wouldn’t mind flying Delta instead if it was at least less expensive. But it’s...
I don’t think we should be fashionably late…it’s not LA…

silenciodemuerte asked: Hello! I was searching through tags and saw your post about getting awesome service with the folks at Apple. I'm moving abroad (Chile) in slightly more than a month and am wondering exactly what you had to do to get everything fixed up to do that, etc. I thought that nothing short of selling a kidney could make getting my iPhone unlocked a possibility. Am I to assume that you're off...

I'm up an hour early...
And all I can think about is how I wish I could have a skim latte with vanilla to drink during graduation and how I’m going to eat pinwheels my mom made for breakfast (breakfast of champions!). But really, a morning graduation with no Starbucks? Rubbish.
Tired people.
Turned a corner in a floor of faculty offices to find a student fast asleep, slumped across a tiny bench.
Walked into the cafe and my eyes travelled over to the chairs in the corner, where a girl was curled up, energy drink on the table next to her.
It’s the last day of finals here at SMC.
I just got asked if I could speak spanish to a cashier because my english was confusing. The answer is I don’t speak spanish, but even if I did, NO.
Did u fall asleep on me?
– Breezy
Note that, despite that fact that it is 3am, I did not fall asleep, I merely had poor signal. I am just amused that she knows me so well [I constantly fall asleep while texting]

Speaking to myself in Irish...
…and chuckling because it’s so terrible.
AKA just finished watching Once for the umpteenth time (makes me so happy) and have to return to my Hinduism final…
I’ve been working for two hours, taking an hour break, working for two hours, taking a break, now it’s on to probably the last two hours of work.
I’m a tad stuck (why did the teacher have to word it so...
I just ate a cupcake for breakfast.
It’s that kind of a day.
In other news, I’ll be off social media/my computer/my mobile for the next 6 hours so if anyone gets in touch with me those ways and I don’t reply, now you know why. Also, if I post anything on any of those things, feel free to yell at me. k, thanks.
Off to kick my take-home finals butt (this final is way harder than I anticipated, what gives?) and be...

1. I get to see Keywest perform again!
2. Pretzels, bagels, and donuts from the Galway Saturday market.
3. I can meet the Joyce family’s newest member, Ciara!
4. Photos. Photos, photos, and more photos.
5. Paracetamol. You have got to be kidding me. I will pack my weight in ibuprofen.
6. Accents, oh the accents. (Accents and small-child-talk? Well that will be an adventure…)
Okay,...

Questions and a Reflection.
Amy (who works in the Science department) asked me a great question today…
Can you imagine making the decision you did, to be an Au Pair to four boys in Ireland for a year, when you were a freshman?
No, no I cannot.
She said her favourite part about getting to know the students was watching them grow and change over the years. Well, she’s right, I have grown and I have changed.
I...

Apple Customer Service makes me so happy.
Seriously.
26 minutes later and I now know how to unlock my iPhone, open my SIM card slot, install a mini-SIM from an Irish provider, text friends for free around the world using iMessage, use my home’s wi-fi to prevent data charges, get help if my phone has any issues in Ireland, and so much more.
Most helpful guy ever, he deserves an award.
